KARACHI, Nov 8: The additional district and sessions judge, South, Ms Sher Bano Karim, cancelled the interim bail obtained by the owner of the Maverick Security Agency, whose two guards robbed Rs40 million.

Col (retd) Asghar Feroze, represented by Khawaja Naveed, immediately left the sessions court as the judge cancelled his bail before arrest.

Two security guards of the colonel's agency were hired by a money changer Zafar Paracha. The guards robbed the money-changer of US dollars equivalent to Rs40 million and fled away.

While the two guards remained untraceable, the owner of the security agency obtained an anticipatory bail from the sessions court and the police had no clue to his whereabouts.

Col Feroze appeared in the court on Monday, but left the court later.
