Hyderabad shock Karachi Whites

KARACHI, Oct 25: Hyderabad pulled a stunning 64-run victory over Karachi Whites in the PCB Inter-region Level-II One-day cricket tournament at the PCB Regional Academy ground on Monday.

Karachi Whites were all out for 183 in the 37th over after Hyderabad had set them a target of 248.

Earlier, an opening stand of 111 between Mohammad Saleem (68 off 63 balls, 10 fours and two sixes) and Iqbal Shaikh (64 off 102 balls, seven fours) gave Hyderabad a flying start. The visitors reached 247 for seven in their 45 overs.

Our Sports Correspondent adds from Lahore: Sialkot scored a three-wicket win over Peshawar at the Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala.

A four-wicket haul by spinner Adnan Kaleem and an undefeated 61 by Chaudhry Sajjad steered Karachi Blues to a seven-wicket victory against Faisalabad at the Sports Stadium in Sargodha.

An unbeaten 55 off 66 balls by Rehan Rafiq enabled Multan to defeat Quetta by six wickets at the Bahawalpur Stadium.
