MARDAN, Oct 23: A former MPA and provincial leader of Pakistan People's Party (Sherpao), Mian Muzzafar Shah, said that the Kalabagh Dam was a serious matter particularly for the NWFP and Sindh.

Talking to local journalists at the residence of provincial president of People's Lawyer Forum, Iqbal Khan Hoti, Mr Shah claimed that the ANP had no role to play in the issue of the Kalabagh Dam, provincial rights or the ongoing issue of Wana as all the parties of the country had the same stand and voice regarding such issues while the ANP was a party of only four districts of the province.

The PPP leader claimed that the MMA government in the province had totally failed as price hike, unemployment, corruption and law and order situation in the province became extremely dangerous, and no one was safe even in broad daylight.

Mr Shah also criticized the MMA MPAs, saying that most of them were earlier poor but today they got 'unfair benefits and privileges from their status'.

He said that the law and order situation was extremely dangerous in the province and it would go out of control if it was not addressed immediately.
