DADU: Four arrested for killing boy

DADU, Oct 9: Four men were arrested here on Saturday on the charge of killing a schoolboy, Ghulam Haider Panhwar.

Talking to newsmen, DPO Javed Alam Odho alleged that Nazeer Shahani, Nabi Bukhsh Jamali, Ayaz Book and Sikandar Ali Panhwar had taken the schoolboy to a railway quarter five days ago and held him hostage there.

He said that the accused attempted to criminally assault the boy but he resisted on which they tortured and killed him.

He said that after killing the boy, they put his body in a gunny bag and threw it outside the quarter. He said that police succeeded to arrest the four accused after conducting raids at different places in Dadu.

SUICIDE: A woman, Samina Channa, 22, wife of Piral, reportedly committed suicide by shooting herself with a gun at her house near the DCO Colony here on Saturday. The motive behind the suicide was stated to be some domestic problems.
