SUKKUR: Villager, son shot dead

SUKKUR, Sept 11: A man and his son were killed in the Gordi village, Ghauspur police station jurisdiction, near Kandhkot, on Saturday morning.

Gulsher Lolai and his son, Jatoi Lolai, were on their way to Ghauspur when unidentified persons shot them dead.

Police handed over the bodies to their relatives after postmortem.

The reason behind the incident is said to be an old enmity.

ACCIDENT: A man, Deedar Chijan, was killed after being run over by a speeding bus on the National Highway in the Jhangro police station jurisdiction here on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the body of a 28-year-old man, with his hands tied, was recovered from the Kirthar Canal near here on Saturday.

Police handed over the body to the Edhi foundation as no one claimed it.
