Umpires for Indian series

MUMBAI, March 4: A.V. Jayaprakash and K. Hariharan are umpires nominated by BCCI to stand as field umpires in six ODIs against Pakistan along with ICC-appointed umpires.

Jayaprakash would officiate as field umpire in first two ODIs on April 2 (Kochi) and 5 (Vishakapatnam) along with ICC-appointed Billy Bowden before giving way to Hariharan to officiate in third to fifth ODIs scheduled on April 9 (Jamshedpur), April 12 (Ahmedabad) and April 15 (Kanpur).

Jayaprakash would be on-field umpire for sixth and final ODI scheduled at Delhi on April 17. For three-Test series preceding ODI rubber, Hariharan, Jayaprakash and I Shivram have been entrusted with job of doing third umpire's duties.

Rudi Koertzen and Darrel Hair are to officiate in first Test at Mohali (Mar 8-12), Hair and Steve Bucknor would stand in second Test at Kolkata (Mar 16-20) while Billy Bowden and Simon Taufel will officiate third Test at Bangalore (Mar 24-28).

Bowden would officiate as ICC-appointed on-field umpire in first three ODIs while Koertzen would replace him for last three ODIs. Chris Broad is ICC match referee for entire series. -PPI
