LARKANA, Oct 13: Two cousins were killed, a woman was injured and another woman and her daughter were kidnapped by armed men in a village near Warah on Wednesday.

A group of six armed men sneaked into the house of Sabir Ali in Qubool Lashari village on the outskirts of Warah, 60 kilometres off here.

They opened indiscriminate fire killing Sabir Ali and Ali Murad and injuring Saleema, the mother of Sabir, who was later admitted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital here in precarious condition.

The attackers kidnapped Sabir's wife, Bakhtawar, and daughter, Bilqeesa. Brother of Sabir, Chhango Khan, has lodged an FIR with the Warah police against Wazeer Lashari, Nizamuddin, Imdad Ali, Mohammed Nawaz, Ali Gul, Seengar and Nadir. Police have arrested Wazeer and launched an investigation.

The cause of double murder and kidnappings was a family dispute, police said.
