HYDERABAD, Oct 1: The officials of Thatta and Larkana Cricket Associations have lodged their protest over the appointment of managers of senior and junior cricket teams of Hyderabad region for participation in Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade-I and Inter-regions Under-19 cricket championships.

In a letter communicated to the Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar M. Khan the officials ers of both the cricket associations have termed the appointment of managers from Dadu and Hyderabad as injustice with the cricket.

They said that Larkana has clinched the final of Senior Inter-districts cricket tournament of Hyderabad region while Thatta had become the champion of Junior Inter-district cricket tournament of the region.

According to the past practice of the PCB, they said that managers were appointed from the districts of the winners of the competitions. However, this year mnagers from Dadu and Hyderabad have been nominated by the board as the managers of senior and junior teams of Hyderabad region despite the facts that both Dadu and Hyderabad have failed to qualify even in the finals of these tournaments.

They demanded appointment of managers of senior and junior crickets teams of Hyderabad region from Larkana and Thatta districts respectively. -APP
