NAWABSHAH, Sept 20: Bodies of a man and a woman were found in a car parked in a garage in the Linepar area on Monday morning. The bodies were identified as those of Haroon Qureshi, 35, owner of a motorcycle showroom and Dr Salma, 30.

Farooq Qureshi, the brother of Haroon, told this correspondent that they had contacted Haroon on his mobile phone on Sunday night and someone received the call and then disconnected.

He said when they went to their garage in the Linepar area, they found the bodies inside the car. Haroon Qureshi had a motorcycle showroom on the Kutchehry road. As soon as the news of his death spread all showrooms in the city closed their business.

Dr Salma Jatt, a resident of Tando Ghulam Ali, was serving as a house officer in the People's Medical College Hospital. She had graduated from the PMC in 2003. Dr Aman Bhangwar and Dr Aysha Solangi, who conducted post- mortem, said no sign of injury was found on the bodies.

They said samples would be sent to laboratory in Rohri and Karachi for chemical examination after which the cause of death would be known. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

NIC: Prof (Dr) Mohammad Saleem Faiz of the People's Medical College Hospital has appealed to the president, prime minister and director-general of Nadra to withdraw the decision of moving court for correcting the B-form.

Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he said he had applied for computerized national identity cards for his twin daughters and submitted copies of the B-form along with other relevant documents.

He said the Nadra authorities informed him that the date of birth of twins mentioned in their register did not tally that of mentioned in the B-form. He said he was directed to file a case in the court and get a order for correction of mistake which was made by Nadra officials while making entry of the date of birth.
