The DCO said Multan would be the third city of the Punjab where franchised intra-city bus service was being provided.

He said that the number of buses would be gradually increased. He said each bus would have the capacity of 100 passengers. The transport company would be given a piece of land near Dera Adda on lease to set up its main terminal.
