KARACHI, July 11: Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf of Balochistan Sunday called on his Sindh counterpart Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim here on Sunday and discussed with him common issues of the two provinces.

The talks focussed especially on water supply and curbing criminal activities along the Sindh-Balochistan border. Jam Yousaf later told electronic media representatives that he held a detailed discussion with Dr Arbab on law and order situation, including security system on Sindh's border with Balochistan and Punjab to ensure peace.

On his part, Dr Arbab said that Sindh and Balochistan enjoyed long-lasting historical and cultural relations. He expressed the hope that people of Sindh and Balochistan would work jointly for development and prosperity in the country.

He said all issues would be settled through dialogue and a joint strategy would be adopted to deal with criminals. -PPI
