KARACHI, June 23: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the results of BA Part I (Regular/External) Annual Examinations 2003. A total of 15,360 candidates appeared in the exams, and 8,233 were declared successful with an overall pass percentage of 53.60.

About 7,919 regular candidates took part in the exams, and 4,963 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 62.67. While, among the 7,441 external candidates that were examined, 3,270 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 43.94. Marks certificates were being issued, said a KU announcement.

ADMISSION TESTS: The University of Karachi has announced that the process for admission to BS(CS)/BS(SE), MCS and PGD - morning, and evening programmes - at the Department of Computer Science would start from September 28.

Admission tests for BS(CS)/BS(SE) would be held on October 10, for MCS on November 18 and for PGD on November 19. Forms would be available from September 28, while classes would start from January 1, said a notification.
