SAHIWAL, June 13: About 12 robbers on Saturday night looted the labourers employed by a construction company on the Chuchak Road and gang-raped three women workers.

Reports said the dacoits came to the Adda Khokhar Bridge after midnight, tied the male workers with a rope and gang-raped three women. They made off with cash, valuables from the labourers and Rs50,000 from camp office of the company.

FOUR KILLED: Four people were killed and 15 others sustained injuries in separate incidents here on Sunday. A Sahiwal-bound wagon (LHM-1113) overturned near Chak 132/9-L on the GT Road as a result 15 passengers sustained injuries.

The injured were identified as Qamar, Mirza Zafar Baig, Ghulam Haidar, Farhat Baig, Nasreen, Sattan and others. A motorcycle (PK-1411) fell into a drain, resulting in the death of Abdullah and his friend Zafar Pehlwan.

Talha was standing at the bus stand near Qadirabad when a speeding truck (SA-3253) ran him over. In Chak 96/6-R, four bandits entered the house of Allah Ditta and killed him on offering resistance. They took away valuables and jewellery.
