DADU, March 21: The employees of Hesco took out a procession for the second consecutive day here on Sunday to protest against registration of a murder case against their three colleagues.

Led by Hydro Electric Central Labour Union leader Mohammad Warial Mirani, they marched on main roads of the city and held a demonstration outside the press club for one hour.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mirani said villager Mehrab Panhwar was shot dead in a clash between the Bhan Saeedabad police and residents of Sharif-ja-Bhan village five days back but police had registered a murder case against Hesco SDO Nisar Ahmad Gadhi and two linemen.

Zamir Ahmad Korejo criticized police for not arresting police officials involved in the murder.He warned that the workers would extend their protest to other parts of the district if the case against the Hesco employees was not withdrawn.

ROBBERY: Three armed men barged into the house of trader Farid Beg in Moundar Naka Colony here on Saturday night and looted gold ornaments, cash and other valuables.
