KARACHI: 20 vehicles taken way

KARACHI, May 15: At least 20 vehicle were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city on Wednesday, police said.

Three cars were hijacked and three were stolen, while, five motorcycles were hijacked and nine motorcycles were stolen from different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Police claimed recovery of three cars and five motorcycles from various parts of the city.

ROBBERIES: Bandits raided a fish market and robbed the dealers of cash and escaped with the loot. The reports said two armed men entered the office of a fish dealer in TPX, robbed him of cash and escaped.

ACCIDENT: A minor girl died in an accidental firing in Quaidabad on Wednesday.

Police said Rifaat Ara, aged 5, and her elder brother Salman, aged 7, were plying in their house in Gulshan-i-Muneer, Quaidabad. They were plying with the pistol of their father when it accidentally went off. Police said that the girl died on way to the hospital. Following the postmortem her body was handed over to her father.
