SUKKUR: Rain, storm hit upper Sindh

SUKKUR, Dec 5: Heavy rain and hailstorm hit many parts of upper Sindh including, Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Ubauro, Ghotki, Jarwar, Yaroo Loond, Thull, Tangwani, Buxapur, Kandhkot, Kashmore and some parts of Khairpur district on Friday evening, making weather a bit colder.

According to reports, rain started at about 5:40pm and followed by hailstorm in some areas including, Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Ubauro, Jarwar and Yaroo Loond.

Soon after, power supply in these areas was suspended and could not be restored till the filing the report.

Reports added that the hailstorm in Mirpur Mathelo and its allied area was very intense but did not cause any mishap. Dense clouds were hovering on Sukkur, Rohri, Ali Wahan, Pano Akil and other areas with bright chances of rain.
