SUKKUR: Uplift schemes reviewed

SUKKUR, Oct 7: A meeting of the district development committee was held here on Tuesday to review progress on various developments schemes.

Committee chairman MPA Syed Javed Shah explained the aims and objects of the committee and asked the officers to extend their cooperation and support government efforts towards the betterment of the society.

The EDOs of works and services, education and agriculture departments, executive engineer, irrigation, Sukkur, district officers of health and community development department briefed the chairman about the development schemes being carried out in their concerned departments.

Mr Shah directed the heads of various departments to submit complete report of development works carried out during last five years. He further directed them to maintain the quality of the development works as per required standard.
