Siemens restructures worldwide operations

KARACHI, Aug 18: Siemens AG, the world’s largest engineering company, is restructuring its worldwide operations to focus on three sectors - industry, energy and healthcare.

Siemens Pakistan MD and CEO Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui said in a statement here on Monday business in Pakistan would also be streamlined in line with global restructuring providing a more focused approach to customers and greater profitability for the company.

He said the campaign titled ‘Answers’ is being launched to coincide with the Independence Day celebrations in the country.

He asserted that the company can provide answers to all issues facing planners as far as these three sectors are concerned.
