Three get life term in murder case

QUETTA, Aug 16: An anti-terrorism court awarded life imprisonment and Rs50,000 fine each to three accused in a murder case on Saturday.

The judge, Mohammad Ghais Nausherwani, announced the verdict after the prosecution had proved that accused Nasir Ahmed, Usman Saifullah and Mohammad Arif had killed a religious leader, Badaruddin, in Dera Murad Jamali in December 2005.

Accused Saifullah and Arif were convicted in absentia.
