KARACHI, June 15: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday gave approval for the reconstitution of the Sindhi Adabi Board.

The reconstituted board, comprising 18 members, would be headed by Senior Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, who holds the portfolio for education and literacy, while senior journalist and writer Aziz Shaikh has been named as its vice-chairman.

Other writers and poets who were nominated for the board are: Abdul Hameed Sindhi, Sirajul Haq Memon, Perwano Bhatti, Ali Qazi, Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui, Mohammad Qasim Maka, Ahmad Khan Madhosh, Sarfraz Rajar, Ahmad Solangi, Ayaz Patoli, Maula Bakhsh Chandio, Jameel Soomro, Sehar Imdad, Dr Karim Rajpar, Agha Salim and Dr Mohammad Laiq Zardari.
