NAWABSHAH, April 25: Bandits looted the president of the Nawabshah District Bar Association and a motorcycle was stolen from the press club here on Friday.

Ali Mohammed Dahiri, the president of the District Bar Association, was intercepted by four armed bandits at Qazi Ahmed link road while he was returning home from Pir Jo Goth.

They deprived him of cash, mobile phone and other valuables on gunpoint and escaped. An FIR was lodged at A- Section Police Station.

Meanwhile, thieves stole a motorcycle belonging to Younus Shaheen, a journalist and member of Nawabshah Press Club outside the gate of press club on Friday.

This was the second incident of motorcycle theft from outside the press club during the last couple of months.

The matter was reported to the police.
