LAHORE, April 24: An 18-member Punjab women’s team left here for India on Thursday to take part in the 6th Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh women’s hockey Gold Cup that commences on Friday at Amritsar’s Guru Nanak Dev University Stadium. The event concludes on April 29.

Team: Saima Afzal (captain), Saman Islam, Saman Rashid, Iram Bukhari, Aqeela Nasim, Leena Afroz, Amna Meer, Sehrish Ghoman, Azra Nasir, Hina Kunwal, Benish Hayat, Sonia Khan, Tehseen Safdar, Sumera Sajid, Ayesha Bashir, Sidra Younis and Kunwal Aslam.
