KARACHI, Feb 22: Karachi University on Friday named its team for the Inter-university zone F basketball tournament which is due to commence at the UBL Sports Complex court on Saturday.

Being the defending champions, Karachi have got a bye and drawn to meet the winners of Aga Khan University/Sir Syed University on Sunday at 4.00pm.

Seven local universities are to compete for two slots which put them in the final rounds being played at Punjab University, Lahore from March 3.

Team: Asad Iqbal, Mohammad Haroon Khan, Agha Mohammad Ibrahim, Mohammad Zain, Khurram Younus, Haseeb Aziz, Ahmed Ali, Syed Adnan Ali, M. Waqas, Habibullah Khan, Mohammad Shabbar, Areeb Qureshi, Syed Ale Mustafa and Mohammad Umar.
