KARACHI, Jan 27: The Sindh government has allocated Rs100 million for the welfare and betterment of the minorities.

This was stated by Director of the Minorities Affairs Qazi Shahid Pervez while speaking at a ceremony held in connection with the Hindu community’s festival of “Dua” at a temple in Clifton on Sunday.

He said the members of minority communities in Pakistan enjoyed all rights enshrined by the constitution for any other citizens.

He said the Hindu community, like all other minorities, was free to practice its religion without any fear.—APP
