KARACHI, Dec 14: Scores of people belonging to different civil society organisations and political parties on Friday took out a rally against the imposition of emergency, and for the restoration of those judges who declined to take a fresh oath under the Provisional Constitution Order.

The rally, organised by the People’s Resistance, a conglomeration of various civil society organisations, started from Regal Chowk (Saddar) and culminated at the Karachi Press Club.

On the way, leaders and activists of PML-N, Jamaat-i-Islami, Tehrik-i-Insaaf and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and other political parties also joined in the rally.
