QUETTA, Dec 13: The Balochistan High Court Bar Association has asked the provincial home department and the Quetta district prison administration to produce detained Supreme Court advocate Ali Ahmed Kurd before the provincial election commissioner on Saturday for withdrawal of his nomination paper from the NA-259 Quetta seat.

BHCBA general secretary Qahar Shah told newsmen on Thursday that Mr Kurd, who is a member of the Pakistan Bar Council, had filed papers from NA 55-56, Rawalpindi, against former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, and from NA-259.—Correspondent
