SAHIWAL, Nov 10: Justice Tariq Mehmood retired is among 127 people shifted to the Sahiwal Central Jail from different cities of Punjab. Among them 61 are lawyers.
Among political detainees, the majority is from PPP and PML-N. According to a jail official, justice Tariq Mehmeood was brought here from Pindi’d Adiala Jail.
Sources said he was in solitary confinement but jail administration denied the report. — Shafiq Butt
