HANGU: Minister’s cousin killed

HANGU, Oct 6: A Wapda official and a cousin of a federal minister were killed and two others were injured when armed men opened fire on them on the Wrasta road on Saturday, officials and witnesses said.

Wapda construction division official Fazal Mahmood and Haji Rafiq, cousin of federal minister Ghazi Gulab Jamal, were going in a car (KT-2231) along with two other officials when they came under fire.

As a result, Fazal Mahmood and Haji Rafiq died on the spot.

The injured — Fazal Karim and Asif — were taken to a hospital. The Hangu police registered a case and started investigation.
