LARKANA, Oct 1: A woman, Gullan, was tortured to death in Haidar Detho village near Mirokhan on late Saturday night.
Earlier, the relatives of the deceased while, hushing up the crime, said that she had committed suicide by taking poison.
But the brother of the deceased, Ghulam Haidar Magsi, lodged an FIR with the Sujawal Junejo police station alleging that Manzoor Magsi, the woman’s husband, and his brother Zulfikar Magsi, had tortured her in their house over some domestic dispute.
MURDER: A lady health worker, Naseem Chandio, was shot dead by her former husband Mohammad Hassan Brohi after he broke into her house in Rehmatput locality here on Sunday.
The deceased after separation from Brohi had married to Dr Nadeem Chandio and since then her former husband was after her, sources said.
