KARACHI, Aug 18: Patients continued to suffer at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday as its out-patient departments remained closed for most of the day.

The OPD services have been suspended since Wednesday after a bloody clash between students’ groups at the neighbouring Sindh Medical College left a student dead.

The out-patient departments resumed functioning earlier on Saturday with sparse presence of the medics but then were closed leaving hundreds of visitors with no option but to head for other hospitals for treatment.
