KARACHI: 1,950 prisoners vaccinated

KARACHI, Aug 11: The health department of the city government has arranged vaccinations for 1,950 prisoners housed in three different jails of the city. Officials associated with the CDGK’s health department here on Saturday said 27,450 doses were administered, in three different phases, to the inmates of Central Prison, Karachi, the Landhi Jail and the Women’s Jail.

The vaccination campaign continued from June till August and the recommended schedule was strictly followed to ensure 100 per cent efficacy, sources said.
