HANGU, March 9: Criticizing the Zila Nazim of Hangu for turning a blind eye to problems, the Nazim of Ganjano Kalli union council, Gul Sahib Shah, has said the District Nazim is leading the new system of governance towards failure.

Speaking at a Press conference at the municipal committee office here on Friday, Gul Sahib Shah said no public representative would be allowed to deprive the people of their due rights.

He said the people were facing acute shortage of drinking water in the district, but the district government authorities had done nothing to make arrangements for the water supply.

Shah said roads and streets of Hangu town and other urban areas of the district were in a bad condition. He claimed that the Zila Nazim was only making hollow promises with the people for the  resolution of their problems, but he alleged that  the bureaucracy was also making hurdles in the way of development schemes in the district.

TRADERS’ FUNCTION: Zila Nazim Pir Haidar Ali Shah has said the government would make every effort to solve the problems facing the traders.
