DADU, May 16: Two children were kidnapped here on Wednesday. Imran Ahmed Soomro, 5, of Channo Shahabad Mohalla, was playing in the street when he was kidnapped. Shahmir Solangi, 8 was kidnapped from Gharibabad Mohalla when he went out to buy candies.

Relatives and citizens took out a rally against the kidnapping. Protesters were carrying banners and raised slogans against police. They blocked the main road suspending vehicular traffic for an hour.

Sohrab Solangi and Nawab said that a group of kidnappers had become active but police were not taking steps to arrest them. They alleged that some influential people were involved in kidnapping of children.

DIE: Two more fire victims died in Sehwan Hospital on Tuesday night. Zaibul Otho and More Otho had sustained burn injuries in village Mahi Otho of Taluka Sehwan when fire gutted 130 houses. Some 27 burn victims are under treatment at the hospitals of Sehwan, Hyderabad and Karachi.

However, the affected families are sitting in open sky as they are facing problems of food, and other facilities since last two days.
