NEW DELHI, May 11: India and Pakistan have agreed to hold the next round of talks on four remaining subjects under the ongoing fourth round of the composite dialogue, the Indian foreign ministry announced on Friday.

It said talks on the Tulbal Navigation Project would be held in New Delhi on June 26 and 27 between water resources secretaries.

Their culture secretaries would meet on June 28 and 29 in Islamabad to push the promotion of friendly exchanges in various fields.

On July 3 and 4, home secretaries of the two sides would meet in New Delhi to pursue their discussions on terrorism and drug trafficking.

To discuss economic and commercial cooperation, the two commerce secretaries will lead the talks on July 31 and August 1.

This is to be followed by a meeting of the joint study group on August 2, New Delhi.

The foreign secretary talks were held on March 13-14, 2007 in Islamabad to initiate the 4th round of the composite dialogue.

That was also when they held discussions on peace and security including CBMs and Jammu and Kashmir.

Talks on Sir Creek are scheduled to be held on May 17-18, 2007 in Islamabad.
