Man kills boy

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 8: A student of Class VIII was shot dead by a man near Behram Solangi village on Thursday. Later, the man tried to commit suicide by shooting himself but he did not die and received injuries.

Saddam Hussain was going to school when Sain Dino Solangi opened fire at him, killing him on the spot. Later, he shot at himself and received bullet injuries.

The body of the boy was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem at Kandiaro Taluka Hospital where Sain Dino was admitted.

Zulfiqar Ali Solangi, brother of the deceased, has lodged an FIR under section 302, 325 and 34, PPC, with Mehrabpur police.

The police said Zulfiqar Ali has mentioned in the FIR that Sain Dino did not hold a good reputation and that the parents of Saddam had advised him against keeping ties with Sain Dino. Sain had threatened to kill the boy and himself if he was restrained from meeting with the boy, he said.
