NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 8: A student of Class VIII was shot dead by a man near Behram Solangi village on Thursday. Later, the man tried to commit suicide by shooting himself but he did not die and received injuries.

Saddam Hussain was going to school when Sain Dino Solangi opened fire at him, killing him on the spot. Later, he shot at himself and received bullet injuries.

The body of the boy was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem at Kandiaro Taluka Hospital where Sain Dino was admitted.

Zulfiqar Ali Solangi, brother of the deceased, has lodged an FIR under section 302, 325 and 34, PPC, with Mehrabpur police.
