MIRAMSHAH, March 3: A tribesman, suspected of spying for the US, was shot dead in Afghanistan on Saturday, officials said.

They said Baloch Khan Mehsud had been abducted by masked men from Miramshah bazaar in North Waziristan three days ago. His body was found in Bori Khel area of the Khost province of Afghanistan.

Mr Mehsud was accused of spying for the US, said the officials, adding that his body was being shifted to the tribal area.

Sources said another alleged spy was abducted from Miramshah on Saturday and shifted to some unknown location.
