KHAIRPUR, Feb 24: The Revenue Department high-ups on Saturday transferred Gul Baig Majidano, mukhtiarkar of Khairpur, and directed him to report at the DCO office Khairpur.
No official has replaced Mr Majidano who is said to have been transferred due to his inefficiency in recovery of abiyana in taluka Khairpur.
SHOs REMOVED: Regional Police Officer, Sukkur, Zafaruddin Farooqui held a meeting with district police officers at the DPO office here on Saturday and discussed the law and order situation in the district as well as policemen’s problems.
The meeting also reviewed various complaints of inefficiency and poor performance by police.
The regional police officer removed Rana Nasrullah and Ameer Pathan, the SHOs of ‘A’ Section and Tando Masti Khan respectively. The removed SHOs were directed to report to the Police Line Khairpur.
