Pakistan squash teams outplay rivals

KARACHI, Feb 8: Pakistan boys and girls outclassed their respective opponents on the second day of the team competitions at the Asian Junior Squash Championship in Hong Kong on Thursday.

According to the details available here, Pakistan quashed Korea in the girls’ team event 3-0 while the boys did the same against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan bt Korea 3-0: Maria Toor bt Song Sun Mi 9-4, 6-9, 9-3, 9-0; Zoya Khalid bt Chan Mi 3-9, 9-7, 10-8, 9-4; Aliya Sarfraz bt Kwon Sung Eun 9-3, 9-3, 9-5.

Malaysia bt Pakistan 3-0: Low Wee Wern bt Maria Toor 9-3, 9-4, 9-5; Low Wee Nee Beat Zoya Khalid 9-3, 4-9, 9-4, 9-6; Nabilla Ariffin bt Aliya Sarfraz 9-2, 7-9, 9-5, 9-5.
