Abbottabad recover after poor start

RAWALPINDI, Jan 18: Abbottabad overcame a poor start to reach 77 for two against Quetta on the first day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at the KRL Stadium here on Thursday.

Having lost both openers for 16 runs, Abbottabad, who were asked to bat first, recovered thanks to an unbroken partnership of 61 between Sajid Rasheed (34) and Adnan Raees (20).

Like all matches in the northern region of the country, this game was also hit by bad light and light rain which resulted in only 35.3 overs being possible after the match started as late as 1.50pm.
