KARACHI, Jan 10: A Sindh High Court division bench, which consisted of Justice Rahmat Husain Jafferi and Justice Munib Ahmed Khan, admitted on Wednesday an appeal moved by four domestic servants of former Balochistan chief minister Sardar Akhtar Mengal against their conviction and sentences by an ATC.

Nasrullah Mengal, Ghulam Haider Langah alias Chappar, Mehboob Ali Satti and Ghulam Qadir were awarded life imprisonment by the trial court for kidnapping two army personnel, Qurban Husain and Fayyaz Ahmad. According to the charge-sheet, the army personnel had been taken to the ex-CM’s Defence residence, held hostage and maltreated during their confinement.
