KARACHI, Jan 9: Only one outstation team is among 16 educational institutions who will fight for glory when the Inter-school basketball tournament gets into action at the KPT Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The teams have been equally drawn into four pools and top two from each will make it to the quarter-finals.

Groups:

“A”: South Shore School, City School North Nazimabad Campus, Falcon House School and Happy Home School.

“B”: Shah Wilayat School, St. Patrick’s, City School Gulshan Campus and Auctor’s Academy.

“C”: Foundation Public School, City School Darakshan, Aureol High School and Karachi Grammar School.

“D”: City School PAF Chapter, CAS School, Beacon House JC and GBHS Mirpurkhas.

The final is slated to be held on Jan 17.

Wednesday’s fixtures:

St. Patrick’s v Auctor’s Academy 9.am; City School Darakshan v Aureol High School 10am; South Shore School v Happy Home School 11am; Shah Wilayat School v City School Gulshan 12.noon; GBHS Mirpurkhas v Beacon House JC 1pm; Foundation Public School v Karachi Grammar School 2pm.
