KARACHI: Young boy dies in accident

KARACHI, Dec 28: A young boy died in a road accident in Gulberg area on Thursday. Police said that Shakir, 12, was riding his cycle when a speeding bus of route 2-D knocked him down. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The bus was set on fire by enraged people after the accident.

SHOT DEAD: In Jamal town, Gadap, a young man, later identified as Mazla, was shot at by unknown assailants.

He was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he died during treatment. Police could not ascertain the motive behind his murder immediately.
