KARACHI: MMA decision hailed

Published November 27, 2006

KARACHI, Nov 26: Former city nazim Niamatullah Khan has said that the MMA decision to quit assemblies will have far reaching consequences as General Pervez Musharraf’s team is not capable to resist popular movement.

Addressing Al-Khidmat councillors’ convention at Arqam Islamic Centre in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Sunday, he observed that General Musharraf was the weakest president in the country’s history who could not even step out of the presidency unless the five-km radius around it was closed to people. — Staff Reporter
