KARACHI: Prof Sabir Ali passes away

KARACHI, Oct 15: Prof Dr Syed Sabir Ali, a former pro-vice-chancellor of Karachi University, died here on Sunday after a protracted illness. He was 74.

He was buried in the Karachi University graveyard. He leaves behind a widow and three daughters.

Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University Prof Pirzada Qasim has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Dr Sabir.

He said the contributions of the deceased to the realm of education would be remembered for a long time.—APP
