KARACHI: NED announces results

KARACHI, Feb 13: The NED University has announced results of annual B.E. final (Metallurgical & Chemical Engineering) and third-year (Metallurgical Engineering) supplementary examinations along with the results of various other batches.

Candidates bearing the following seat numbers have been declared pass:

Metallurgical Engineering 1995-96 batch: 158 (1091) 157 (1015), 161 (996), 154 (847), 155 (779), 160 (919), 162 (768) and 163 (866).

Third-year Metallurgical Engineering 1995-96 batch: 153 (739), 154 (973), 162 (816), 164 (697) and 168 (828).

B.E. final Chemical Engg. annual exams 1995-96 batch: 71 (989), 128 (986), 76 (970), 55 (952), 56 (899), 60 (884), 61 (960), 63 (961), 65 (762), 67 (950), 68 (849), 77 (767),79 (780), 80 (917), 81 (950), 82 (845), 83 (779), 84 (956), 85 (827), 88 (945), 89 (872), 90 (835), 91 (877), 96 (778), 99 (959), 100 (892), 102 (907), 103 (853), 108 (743), 112 (942), 116 (733), 118 (762), 120 (765), 126 (885), 129 (906), 130 (848), 133 (733), 134 (800), 139 (874),141 (771), 142 (888) and 144 (889).

Second division - 74 (678), 87 (650), 95 (584) and 101 (691)

B.E. final Chemical Engineering supplementary exams 1994-95 batch:

First division - 125 (714 + 6) only; Second division - 59 (669), 96 (675), 104 (597) and 133 (678); Third division - 68.

Electronics Engineering: The university also announced third-year supplementary examinations of Electronics Engineering 1995-96 batch along with the supplementary examinations of various other batches of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology.

41 candidates of 3rd year Electronic Engineering, whereas 15 candidates of 1994-95 batch supplementary exams were declared pass. Result of one candidate, with seat No 297, of 1994-95 batch was withheld.

19 other candidates of supplementary exams of 1993-94 batch were declared successful whereas results of two candidates of the same batch, with seat Nos 268 and 348, were also withheld.

Only one candidate, seat No 319, was declared pass in supplementary exams of 1992-93 batch.

Civil Engineering: In the third-year annual Civil Engineering examinations of 1998-99 batch, 119 candidates were declared pass whereas result of one candidate, seat No 134, was also withheld.

Seven candidates appeared in the 3rd year Civil Engineering supplementary examinations of 1997-98 batch and another candidate of 1996-97 batch was also declared passed.

EXAMS: Meanwhile, the NED University has notified that the second-year Electrical Engineering supplementary examinations of 1999-2000 batch will commence from March 14.

Last date for submission of examination forms has been fixed as March 4 with an examination fee of Rs1200 plus marks sheet fee Rs200.

First semester post-graduate diploma in Computer Science and Information Technology annual examinations 2002, morning programme, city campus, will begin from Feb 27.

Last date for submission of exams forms and fee of Rs800 has been fixed as Feb 18. However exams forms would be accepted after the due date as per rules.—PPI
