KOHAT: Father, son killed in shootout

KOHAT, Sept 10: A man and his son were killed in a shootout in their house in the Chambai area here on Sunday. Mujahid, another son of the man, told police that his deranged brother Amjad had opened fire on his father, Faqir Muhammad, killing him on the spot.

He said that to save his other family members, he fired at Amjad and killed him. The Saddar police station has registered the case.

ACCIDENT: A young man riding a bicycle was knocked down and killed by a passenger bus in the Janglekhel area.

Sultan Nawaz informed the Cantt police that a bus hit his brother Rab Nawaz. He was taken to hospital where he died. The bus driver fled the area. The police registered a case against the unidentified driver.
