KARACHI, Aug 12: Pakistan No. 17 Irfan Rasheed Khan will take part in the 10th Style National Ranking snooker championship in place of Atiq Latif Bakhsh, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association announced on Saturday.

The championship will start at the Karachi Club from Aug 21.

“Atiq has gone to Ireland for technical studies and therefore Irfan will take his place as he was next in waiting line,” the association said.

Following cueists have confirmed their participation in the Rs145,000 competition.

Imran Shahzad, Khurram Agha, Mohammad Yousuf, Naveen Perwani, Sohail Shahzad, Rambel Gul, Abu Saim, Salman Shaikh, Mohammad Asif, Saqib Butt, Vishan Gir, Imtiaz Tipu, Syed Mesam Zaidi, Raees Khan, Imran Qamar, Irfan Rasheed Khan.
