Virtual court opens in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: The judge of Peshawar High Court, Abbottabad circuit bench, Justice Mohammad Tariq Afridi on Saturday inaugurated a virtual court here, saying legal fraternity played an important role in the dispensation of justice.

“The role of bench and bar is important in dispensing justice to litigants. The inauguration of virtual court will help to overcome some hurdles in expediting the disposal of cases,” he said while speaking at the inaugural ceremony held at the district bar association here.

A number of judges and members of legal fraternity attended the ceremony. Justice Afridi also inaugurated a dispensary established by the bar association. He said that legal fraternity should play its due role in ensuring speedy disposal of cases.

MPA Munir Hussain Lughmani, who is also a member of the district bar association, attended the ceremony.

The acting president of district bar association, Mohammad Shafique Awan, and general secretary Mohammad Qasim Jehangir also addressed the gathering.
