RAWALPINDI: Widespread rainwind/thunder shower is expected in upper/central Punjab and southern/central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while at isolated places in Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Heavy rainfall and hailstorms are also likely at few places during the period.
Mainly dry weather is expected in other southern parts of the country.
According to Met Office, a westerly wave is affecting most upper/central parts of the country. It warned that windstorm, hailstorm and lightning may damage weak structures like roof/wall of Kacha houses, electric poles, billboards, vehicles and solar panels, standing crops, etc., during the forecast period.
The official said that the rain will also be expected in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on October 13 and 14 and during the forecast period, the day temperature will decrease from 2 degree Celsius to 4 degree Celsius.
On Saturday, partly cloudy weather was witnessed and the minimum temperature was recorded at 21 degree Celsius and maximum temperature at 28 degree Celsius.
On the other hand, electricity load shedding in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad was not ended despite the decrease in the temperature. The power load shedding created problem for the people during night.
